OutSystems drives low-code development in the DACH region with valantic

by Do iT Lean on Nov 15, 2023

Partnership puts valantic at the forefront of the low-code market, while OutSystems gains regional expertise

OutSystems, a global leader in application development based on high-performance low-code, has established a strong partnership with digital consulting solutions and software company valantic in recent months. As a partner for the intelligent use of digital technologies, the Munich-based company supports OutSystems in establishing high-performance low-code development as a successful solution for the digital transformation of companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

New partnership through the merger of valantic and Do iT Lean

valantic is one of the fastest-growing companies in the market. More than 500 blue-chip customers already rely on the services offered – including 32 of the 40 DAX corporations and just as many leading companies from Switzerland and Austria. The partnership between OutSystems and valantic was formed through the merger of valantic and the Portugal-based professional services company Do iT Lean in November 2022. Do iT Lean - a valantic company, as a long-standing partner, ranked OutSystems #1 Partner in Customer Satisfaction, and expert in the field of low-code development, has already developed numerous solutions for customer companies based on the high-performance low-code platform OutSystems all around the globe.

With Do iT Lean as the company’s own competence centre, it is now possible for valantic to offer its customers low-code solutions in addition to the existing high-code services. By using low-code technology, development teams can develop business-critical applications in the shortest possible time. This is particularly advantageous in the DACH region, where there is a widespread shortage of qualified specialists.

The increasing importance of low-code

“Through the merger of the two companies, we at OutSystems benefit not only from the technological expertise on the side of Do iT Lean, but also from valantic’s experience and knowledge of the individual needs of companies in the DACH market. This is precisely what helps us to continuously develop our platform so that our customers can derive the greatest possible benefit from it,” says Christoph Volkmer, Regional Vice President EMEA Central at OutSystems. “One example of this is the growing demand for artificial intelligence. With our recent innovations in generative AI, such as generating applications using natural language prompts, the OutSystems platform is helping to dramatically improve code quality, overall development performance, and application security and governance. This enables low-code development teams to code mission-critical applications even better and faster.”

“Low-code will increasingly play an important role in customer tailor-made application development in the coming years”, says Karsten Ötschmann, Managing Director and Partner at valantic. “The correlated speed from ideation to scalability is a decisive factor here, as are the related costs.”

Channel strategy puts partner companies first

Since last year, OutSystems has been pursuing a partner strategy with a focus on “Partner First”, which aims to unite direct and partner sales, as well as the expansion of an extensive partner programme. This includes the Partner Central Portal, which allows resellers to access self-services and facilitates collaboration. With Partner Rewards, committed partner companies will also receive higher financial incentives, especially when up-selling to existing customers. The OutSystems channel network now comprises more than 400 partners worldwide, 28 of which are in the DACH region.
